Marine Foods joins Nipponham Group through 100% investment by NH Foods Ltd., takes over seafood operations

1986

Head office relocates to 13-1, Shibaura 3-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Mie Plant commences operations at Ichishi-gun (now Tsu) in Mie prefecture

1993

Distribution center opens on site of Mie Plant

1996

Trading rights granted for Tokyo Central Wholesale Market (Ota Market)

2007

Head office relocates to 1-1, Osaki 2-chome, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo

2011

Trading rights granted for Tokyo Central Wholesale Market (Tsukiji Market)

2013

Kushiro Marusui Co., Ltd. founded at Shiranuka-cho, Hokkaido

2014

Mie Plant awarded IOS9001 certification

2019

Marine Foods takes over selected seafood trading and frozen foods operations from Hoko Co., Ltd.

MF Vietnam commences operations as offshore processor of sushi components in Can Tho, Vietnam
Head office awarded IOS9001 certification

2021

Vladivostok Office opens in Russia

2022

Marine Foods split off as a fully-owned subsidiary of Sojitz Corporation via a share transfer from NH Foods Ltd.
MF Chile founded in Santiago, takes over domestic seafood operations from partner company NH Foods Chile

2023

Head office relocates to 3-1-1  Roppongi , Minato-ku, Tokyo

2024

Ho Chi Minh City Office opens in Vietnam
